Like most retailers in the spring of 2020, Scholar’s Choice was faced with the obstacle of navigating reopening while meeting consumer shopping behaviors. After an unsuccessful attempt at manually executing a curbside pickup program, they were in search of a solution that would help them meet their customers’ needs and move inventory. 

 

Start Spreading the News
Once live, Scholar’s Choice wanted to ramp up the promotion of their curbside pickup offering to get the word out. Through their partnership with Shopgate, they created a webstore that displayed their inventory and linked to their website by way of a promotional banner. From there, they also sent out email marketing blasts to their customers and created signage for their store.

Before working with Shopgate, Scholar’s Choice employees were left to manually field orders, which was both taxing and unscalable; not to mention that it was a difficult and unfair experience to ask of their customers. Now that they’ve launched their curbside solution, they are able to display inventory, track orders, and communicate with customers about order status, promotions, and more.
