What are app sessions?

App sessions describe the number of monthly app sessions in your app. The duration of a session is unlimited as long as the user remains active. After 30 minutes of inactivity, a session is considered ended. If the user becomes active again afterwards, this counts as a new session. Shopgate displays the number of sessions in your app dashboard.

Billing only occurs for the month in which sessions are exceeded. 

Alternatively, you can switch to a higher plan at any time and benefit from additional included sessions as well as access to additional features.

What is included in store availability, Click & Reserve and the loyalty card?

Store availability: shows local availability in the store the user selected. Requires Shopgate Omnichannel Services.

Click & Reserve: reservation of locally available products directly on the app's product detail page. Requires Shopgate Omnichannel Services.

Customer card: shows a scannable customer card e.g. for the local POS. The display can contain the email address or customer number as a bar- or QR-code.

What contract terms apply?

The standard terms of our contracts are as follows:

  • Starter: monthly contract
  • Growth & Scale: annual contract
  • Enterprise: 2-year contract

The notice periods are:

  • for monthly contracts: 14 days to end of term
  • for annual contracts: 3 months to end of term

What is the Customer Board?

The Shopgate Customer Board is a circle of selected heavy users of our app platform and Shopgate experts who exchange ideas at regular intervals. Among other things, the Shopgate roadmap is presented and participants have the opportunity to share their feedback and wishes.
