How does Shopgate comply with the GDPR?
As a company in the EU we comply with the GDPR and have our processes reviewed externally. Every merchant gets a data processing agreement. You keep full control over your customer data at all times.
Where are the servers?
For customers in the EU in Frankfurt, Belgium and Ireland, on Google Cloud and Amazon Web Services. Standard contractual clauses (SCCs) are in place with all providers.
What does Shopgate do for data security?
Shopgate is PCI-DSS certified, runs the PCI-DSS scan every quarter and has regular independent penetration tests. All connections are TLS-encrypted.
